KKR flags and T-shirts being sold in large numbers

Kolkata, April 30: With the Kolkata Knight Riders putting up a good show in the ongoing Indian Premier League edition, flags and T-shirts of the Shah Rukh Khan co-owned franchise are being sold in large numbers in and around the stadium. Apart from the original T-shirts being sold in several outlets around the stadium and in leading shopping malls, many youngsters are making a few quick bucks by selling the cheap items.

Stalemate between Air India management, striking pilots continues

New Delhi, Apr 30(ANI): Refusing to bow to the ultimatum given by the Air India management, the chief of the striking pilots’ union said on Saturday that none of the pilots had resumed work. Over 660 pilots of the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), who belonged to the erstwhile Indian Airlines and were employed by Air India after the merger of the two carriers in 2007, have been on an indefinite strike since April 27 demanding pay parity.
