Air show to promote business Jets conducted at Cochin international airport

Nedumbassery (Kerala), May 3: A static display of business Jets held at Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) to attract corporate clients and also to promote the use of small executive class jets to prospective clients across the state.

The show saw a representation from major Aircraft manufacturers like Cessna, Embraier, SS Aviation, Bombardier, Beech craft etc.

Titan Aviation, a Dubai based major aircraft dealer and charter company has brought these aircraft to showcase at Cochin Airport in association with CIAL for the show.

Phenom 100 Light Business Jet, King Air C 90 B Turbo prop, Cessna 172 Piston Engine, Lear 60 X R Private Jet, Micro light and Embraier were displayed.

The organisers have already identified over 250 prospective buyers in Kerala who can afford to buy these business Jet exclusively for their private and company use.

These air crafts are specially designed to attract such high net working groups which has a capacity to carry six to ten people on board.

These business Jet with a maximum price tag of RS. 20 Crore could be bought either individually or by any two or three companies together.

CIAL also plans to construct a separate terminal for such private Jets where by the business class can easily land, take off, board, park and also can avail the MRO facilities expected to be operative soon at CIAL.

A permanent construction of parking bay for such private aircraft will attract many such aircraft and business people can sit together and discuss their business affairs in the CIAL.

It is predicted that by the year 2020, the total number of business Jet in India is going to be increased by 550 from the present 100 odd ones. By Juhan Samuel(ANI)
