Cheryl Cole ‘demanded £2.5m for UK ‘X Factor’ return’

London, May 31: Axed US ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole demanded 2.5 million pounds for her return to the UK version of the show, according to reports.

Earlier, Cole reportedly denied all probabilities of her joining the UK ‘X Factor’ and was looking forward to being a part of a 5-million-dollar UK based telly show.

But now, according to sources at both Cowell’s production company Syco as well as ITV, ‘The Girl Aloud’ star with pop star William Adams, known as, who became her manager a month ago, wanted the UK broadcaster to agree to the huge fee, reports the Daily Mail.

ITV, however, was apparently prepared only to match the singer’s 1.5million pound fee from last year’s series, despite having already provisionally decided its new judging panel. (ANI)
