Congress issues advisory to its chief ministers to reduce chopper use

New Delhi, May 7: In the wake of the tragic demise of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu last week in a chopper crash, the Congress party has reportedly issued an advisory to all of its chief ministers to cut down on the use of choppers for their travels across the states.

Party sources said that a missive has gone out to curb excessive use of choppers and to travel only if necessary.

The decision comes almost a week after Khandu and four others died in a chopper crash in Tawang District. By Sitesh Dwivedi (ANI)
