David Cameron’s ‘grilling of US President’ joke at BBQ fails to impress

London, May 26: British Prime Minister David Cameron was left embarrassed when his “grilling of a US President” joke during a BBQ at Downing Street was met with silence.

The event held in the Prime Minister’s garden and attended by British and US military personnel and their families had been going on well, until Cameron made the bad joke during post-meal speeches, Sky News reported.

He told the gathered guests that it was “probably the first time in history a British Prime Minister has given an American president a bit of a grilling”.

But his joke was met with a resounding silence, broken only by the sound of the wind.

He however managed to quickly recover and continue on with the rest of his speech. (ANI)
