Iran continuing to develop secret military nuke plant: IAEA

Tehran, May 25: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned that Iran is continuing to develop its secret military nuclear plant despite the world’s efforts to shut it down.

Just as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday warning about the Iranian threat, IAEA cited evidence that suggests that ehran has continued to stockpile low-enriched uranium despite sanctions by international community.

Politico quoted the IAEA report as saying that it was still assessing “further information related to such possible undisclosed nuclear-related activities”.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) had imposed sanctions on Iran on June last year, and earlier this month, Iran had formally agreed to resume talks on its controversial nuclear programme with six major powers that have been stalled since January. (ANI)
