Three killed, eight injured in chemical plant blast in China

Beijing, May 29: Three people have been killed and eight others were injured in a chemical plant blast in China’s Zibo City, the city government has said.

According to Xinhua, the blast occurred at 9:31 p.m., locate time, on Saturday in a chemical plant of Shandong Baoyuan Chemical Corporation Limited.

Two died at the spot, while another one succumbed to injuries later in hospital.

Investigation is being carried out to find the cause of the blast. (ANI)
