Obama visits Ground Zero to mark Osama’s death

New York, May 5: US President Barack Obama joined survivors of the 9/11 terror attack at a Manhattan firehouse Thursday, days after American commandos killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, CNN reported.

Obama visited the home of Engine Company 54, which lost 15 members in the collapse of the World Trade Center’s twin towers.

A US Navy SEAL team killed Osama early Monday with rapid shots to his chest and forehead, according to a US official who has seen military reports about the raid.

But the al Qaeda leader’s death leaves about 130,000 US and allied troops in battle with his followers and his Taliban allies in Afghanistan, which hosted the terrorist movement before the 9/11 attack.
