Former President Kalam to present national awards on Technology Day

New Delhi, May 10: Former President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, will give away national awards on technology on the occasion of Technology Day celebration here tomorrow.

Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Pawan Kumar Bansal will preside over the function.

Technology Day is celebrated as a symbol of quest for scientific inquiry and technological creativity and the translation of that quest in the integration of science, society and industry from 1998.

On this day, the Department of Science and Technology honoured all those, who have introduced and commercialized new technological innovations. (ANI)
