New Delhi, May 7: Delhiites woke up to a sunny Saturday morning as the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 23.8 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast dust storms and light rainfall towards the evening.
‘Skies are likely to turn partly cloudy towards the evening. There is a possibility of dust storms or slight rain,’ said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity was recorded at 55 percent.
The maximum temperature recorded Friday was 39.2 degrees Celsius, normal for the season. Light rainfall was also recorded, but it was ‘negligible, not traceable’, the Met office said.
Mercury dipped by a degree after a cyclonic circulation over Punjab and winds blowing from the Arabian Sea caused a change in the weather.
