Haryana lawmakers to have websites

Karnal (Haryana), June 25: Lawmakers in Haryana will soon have their individual websites where details of their activities and developmental works would be given, Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Sharma said Saturday.

The websites of all legislators in the state would be prepared soon and a software was being got developed in Andhra Pradesh in this regard, he told reporters in this Haryana town, 130 km from Chandigarh.

Sharma said that laptops and computer equipment were being provided to all 90 legislators in the state to acquaint them with the latest technology.

‘They would be imparted training on how to use these gadgets,’ Sharma said.

He said that live coverage of assembly proceedings would further bring transparency in its functioning.
