London, June 20(ANI): Irish tennis prodigy Rory McIlroy is set to cash in on multi-million pound earnings to rival that of American golfing legend Tiger Woods following his US Open win today.

Rory had already generated career earnings of 5.3 million pounds by the end of last year, and now he is set to become one of the world’s most sought-after sports stars after his stunning display over four days at the Congressional Country Club.

His career earnings are now expected to top 100 million pounds, The Daily Express reports.
