New Delhi, July 8: Delhi experienced a cool Friday with clouds and rain bringing the temperature down by six degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.2 degree Celsius. The minimum remained at the average of 27.4 degree Celsius.
A total of 5.2 mm of rain was recorded in the 24 hours to Friday evening. With the IMD forecasting similar weather for Saturday, more rains are expected to lash the capital.
‘The sky will remain cloudy on Saturday with rains and a few spells may be heavy,’ an IMD official said.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 30 degree Celsius while minimum is likely to be around 26 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, with rainfall across the city, atleast 21 complainants of water logging and two complains of fallen trees were received. One report of a part of a building collapsing was also recorded from Sadar Bazar area of central Delhi.
