Jolie, Parker named Hollywood’s highest paid actresses

Los Angeles, July 6: Actresses Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker have been named highest-paid Holllywood actresses by Forbes magazine.

Jolie, who dished out a number of hits including ‘Salt’ and ‘The Tourist’ in the past year, managed to rake in an estimated $30 million between May 2010 and May 2011, putting her in joint first place with Parker, reports contactmusic.com.

Parker made multi-million dollars mostly from re-runs of her ‘Sex and The City’ TV shows, as well as the second movie in the eponymous series last year. Her other side projects, such as a perfume line and a role with fashion house Halston, also contributed to her earnings.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon came joint third with earnings of $28 million each, while Julia Roberts, who was once the highest paid actress, came fifth with $20 million, according to Forbes.
