Washington, July 26(ANI): American golfer Tiger Woods is out of the world’s top 20 for the first time since January 1997.
According to the Sun, Woods is down from eighth to 21st in the latest rankings.
The 35-year-old, who held the World No.1 spot for over 11 years in 10 different spells, has not played since May because of knee and achilles tendon injuries.
But he may return to action at next week’s Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio.
English duo Luke Donald and Lee Westwood are still World No.1 and No.2 despite flopping at The Open. (ANI)
