Islamabad, Aug 13: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) building in Lahore was Saturday evacuated after reports said a bomb was planted there. However, no explosives were found.
A banned terrorist outfit phoned the FIA from an unidentified location that a bomb was placed in the building, Online news agency reported.
A bomb disposal squad was called immediately, which evacuated and searched the entire premises thoroughly. But no bomb or any explosive was found.
Nearby buildings were also evacuated and searched. The squad later declared the area safe.
