No compromise on law and order restoration in Karachi: Rehman Malik

Islamabad, Aug 6: Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the government would not compromise on efforts to restore law and order in Karachi.

Malik’s comments came after his high-level meeting with authorities in charge of maintaining law and order in the city, the Daily Times reports.

“We will not spare anybody,” he said, adding that strict action would be taken against criminals without any discrimination.

In the latest development, five people were killed and over six injured in a number of incidents in different parts of Karachi on Friday.

Violence continued in the city despite the political parties’ efforts for the restoration of peace. (ANI)
