Former DMK minister’s brother nabbed

Chennai, Sep 5: Former DMK minister K.N. Nehru’s younger brother K.N. Ramajayam, wanted in a land grab case, was nabbed by emigration officials at Cochin International Airport Monday morning while trying to board a flight to Dubai, police said.

‘Ramajayam is one of the accused in the land grab case in which Nehru is also involved. We had issued a lookout circular for him. We got the information of his detention today. A police team has been sent to Cochin to bring him back here,’ a police official in Tiruchirapalli told IANS over phone.

Tiruchirapalli is around 320 km from here.

Police said Ramajayam will be brought to Tiruchirapalli tonight or tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
