$1 mn Chinese aid to Turkey

Beijing, Oct 29: China will donate $1 million in aid to quake-hit Turkey, the foreign ministry said Friday.
About 570 people have died and some 2,200 injured in the 7.2-magnitude quake in eastern Turkey’s Van province Oct 23.
The Red Cross Society of China has also donated $50,000 for quake relief, Xinhua reported.
