Two killed in Afghan blast

Kabul, Oct 3: Two people, including the bomber, were killed Monday in a suicide blast targeting Afghan troops in Kandahar, Xinhua reported.

The explosion took place around noon near the Kandahar airport. A guard of a bank was killed and two soldiers were injured, Corps commander General Abdul Hamid Wardak said.
