Pak lawmaker escapes Taliban attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar, Oct 31(ANI): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing and Physical Planning Minister Amjad Khan Afridi today escaped unhurt when Taliban militants opened fire on his vehicle in Kohat district.

According to the Dawn, Afridi was travelling in his bullet-proof car when militants opened fire.

“Militants fired three sniper shots from the nearby hills. One bullet hit the car’s windscreen. The minister is safe,” a police official said.

“The minister was the target. Militants were involved in this attack,” the official added. (ANI)
