Rapper MC Hammer unveils ‘rational’ search engine WireDoo to rival Google

London, Oct 22: Rap star MC Hammer has announced that he is planning to launch a search engine called WireDoo.

Speaking at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Hammer explained that the search engine would be focused on “deep search” and relational topics.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Hammer said that Google and other search engines aren’t as strong at connecting keywords to related topics, something he called relationship search.

“It’s about relationships beyond just the keywords,” Hammer said.

To address this issue, Hammer said he will launch WireDoo, with the tagline “Search once and see what’s related”.

The rapper and entrepreneur didn’t reveal much more about the search engine, beyond that it could bring up related topics to a search query in multiple verticals, including finance.

Hammer believed that the search engine that his team has built would prove to be more useful due to its focus on relational search. (ANI)
