Rihanna’s affinity for C-word remains unabated

Washington, Oct 4: Rihanna recently revealed her fondness for the C-word and said she was completely clueless about the fact that it is considered offensive.

The singer was astonished to know that ‘C’ word is actually considered offensive, when her make-up artist literally begged her to stop using the word as a term of endearment.

She asserted that the locals in her native Barbados use the word as slang for female genitalia frequently.

“That word is so offensive to everyone in the world except for Bajans. You know African-Americans use the N-word to their brothers? Well, that’s the way we use the C-word. When I first came here, I was saying it like it was nothing, like, ‘Hey, c**t’, until my make-up artist finally had to tell me to stop,” contactmusic quoted her as telling Britain’s Vogue magazine.

But despite knowing that the word to be foul, she has not refrained from using it, and even wore a C-word necklace, with ‘c**t’ spelt out on the pendant, during her visit to a Brazilian chapel last month. (ANI)
