Digvijay rubbishes Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s claims, says ‘he is free to go anywhere’

New Delhi, Nov. 11: Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Friday rubbished spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s claims that his visit to Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency of Amethi was cancelled due to political pressure from Delhi, and said he is free to go anywhere he wishes in the country.

When asked to comment on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s claims that his visit to Amethi was cancelled due to political pressure from the Congress, Digvijay Singh: “Why do they come under pressure? They are free to go anywhere they wish. Why will we impose any pressure? India is free and so is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, he can go anywhere he wishes.”

Singh also took a jibe at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, saying the latter was unable to see the rampant corruption in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Karnataka.

“He cannot see the corruption in Karnataka, but he can see the corruption in the whole country,” he added.
