Paris, Nov 23: A French woman aid worker has been abducted in Yemen, a media report said.

Citing Yemeni security officials, French broadcaster RTL said two foreign nationals, including a French woman of Moroccan origin, were kidnapped along with their Yemeni driver by gunmen in southern Lahj region.

They were in a vehicle of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the time of abduction, said Xinhua.

The report, however, did not specify in which organisation the two foreign nationals worked.
