Meeting with Pranab ‘routine’, says Mamata

Kolkata, Nov 8: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Tuesday termed as ‘routine’ the much-anticipated meeting with union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee in the wake of her party’s threat to withdraw support to the Congress-led UPA central government over the petrol price hike.

‘Today we had a routine meeting with Pranab Mukherjee in the presence of Governor M.K. Narayanan,’ Banerjee said after coming out of the meeting held at Raj Bhawan in Kolkata.
