New Delhi, Nov 20: It was a sunny and pleasant Sunday here as the maximum temperature settled at 27.7 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The met office has forecast a pleasant week ahead.
‘The day’s minimum temperature was two notches above average at 14.6 degrees Celsius,’ an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 100 and a low of 60 percent.
In the early morning there was a thin layer of fog in parts of the capital but the skies later cleared.
According to the IMD, a pleasant week is in store for Delhiites with nippy evenings and mornings. However, the afternoons will be warm.
‘The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow (Monday) will hover around 28 and 15 degrees Celsius respectively,’ added the official.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 27.5 degrees and the minimum was recorded at 15.1 degrees, two notches above average.
