After cold morning, sun brings warmth

New Delhi, Dec 20: A cold and foggy morning gave way to a pleasant day Tuesday as the sun shone warmly, though the minimum temperature was 4.8 degrees Celsius – three notches below average. The met department has predicted dense fog Wednesday morning.

While the maximum temperature was recorded at 20.4 degrees — two notches below average, the humidity swung between a high of 100 and a low of 51 percent, the India Meteorological Department said.

The sky remained clear in the day with a pleasant sun.

‘There will be fog in the morning on Wednesday but the sky will remain clear during the day,’ IMD said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 22 and 7 degrees, respectively.
