US Defense Secretary Panetta relishes Osama bin Laden death with $10K wine

Washington, Dec 2(ANI): US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta enjoyed a rare 10,000 pound wine, as a reward for killing former Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden on May 2.

California restaurateur Ted Balestreri had earlier promised Panetta that he would taste couple sips of the Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1870 if Bin Laden was caught or killed.

Though Panetta had told his wife to request Balestreri to live up to his promise in May, the latter fulfilled his promise recently.

Panetta chose to share the bottle with several dozen friends, Politico reports.

Each sampled the wine in a CIA shot glass that they were allowed to keep. (ANI)
