US to deploy drones in Bulgaria

Sofia, Dec 7: Bulgaria will allow the US to deploy drones at two of its air bases in the country, Xinhua reported Wednesday.

The decision comes following a defence cooperation agreement signed by Bulgaria with the US in 2006.

It allows the Americans to deploy drones at two US air bases in the country’s Graf Ignatievo and Bezmer region.

Unmanned aircraft have played a major role in the US-led war against global terrorism.
