London, Dec 9: England midfielder Jack Wilshere wants his Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to succeed Fabio Capello.
He said he would be “delighted” if it happened after Euro 2012.
Wilshere said: “It wouldn’t be bad if he got the job. He continues to prove he’s the best. People question him every year but I cannot remember the last time we didn’t qualify from the group stages of the Champions League.”
“He and Alex Ferguson are the best in the Premier League. People who question them are stupid. If he was to be made England manager, I’d be delighted,” The Sun quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
