London, Jan 29(ANI): Senegalese striker Mama Biram Diouf has moved to Hannover from Manchester United and will join his new teammates on Monday.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka has expressed his delight after signing Diouf and feels he can really help them push forward in their current Bundesliga and the Europa League challenges.
“I am pleased that we now have another alternative for our attack with Mame Diouf,” The Sun quoted Slomka, as saying.
“We are now going to have to integrate him quickly so that he can help us with our upcoming challenges in the Bundesliga and the Europa League,” he added.
Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers was also reportedly interested in the striker who was able to make just a handful of appearances in his three years at Old Trafford. (ANI)
