58-year-old Christie Brinkley outshines women 20 years her junior on catwalk

London, Feb 10: Christie Brinkley has proved she’s the eternal ‘Uptown Girl’ as she managed to outshine women two decades younger than her at a catwalk event in New York.

The American model and actress is best known for her three consecutive appearances on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the late 1970s and early 1980s and for her long-running contract with CoverGirl, the longest ever of any model in history.

The 58-year-old looked red hot as she walked down the runway at The Heart Truth’s Red dress Collection Fashion Show, the Daily Mail reported.

The model strutted down the catwalk to the strains of former husband Billy Joel’s hit ‘Uptown Girl’, with her blonde hair tumbling over her shoulders.

The chiffon dress, designed by Pamella Roland, also featured a shawl and thigh high split.

The event, which was held to raise awareness of heart health in women, also featured Rose McGown, 38, Minka Kelly, 24, and Rebecca Romijn, 39. (ANI)
