Arun Jaitley says ‘no crisis’ in Karnataka

New Delhi/Bangalore, Feb 24: Amid reports that B S Yeddyurappa has set February 27 as a deadline to the central leadership to reinstate him as the chief minister, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley on Friday said there is no crisis in the party in Karnataka.

“There is no crisis in the party in Karnataka. There is no problem that he has created. So, what you are attributing to him is not the factual situation,” Jaitley told the media here on the sidelines of the ‘Jan Sanghrash Yatra’

Yeddyurappa met BJP President Nitin Gadkari, who is presently in Bangalore to attend the ‘Chintan Manthan’ or brainstorming session beginning today.ccording to certain reports, a few of Yeddyurappa’s supporters have asked Gadkari to consider a come back for Yeddyurappa.ccording to reports, Yeddyurappa has served an ultimatum to the BJP central leadership and set February 27 as a deadline to reinstate him as chief minister, failing which he would decide on his course of action.
