New Delhi, Feb 8: The capital witnessed a relatively chilly day Wednesday, with the minimum temperature at 8.5 degrees Celsius. Thursday morning will be misty, with a fall in mercury, the Met office said.
The morning was cold and cloudy, though the rest of the day was clear.
The maximum temperature was recorded three notches below average at 19.6 degrees.
Humidity wavered between a high of 85 and a low of 19 percent.
According to an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Thursday morning will be misty, but the sky will remain clear in the day.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively, the official said.
