London, Feb 16 (ANI)): The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly sent a pair of boxer shorts to her husband Prince William, who is in the Falkland Islands serving as an RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot, as Valentine’s Day gift.
It is said that Kate popped into one of her favourite shops for the 25-pound Ralph Lauren pants and posted the medium-size undies in time for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday.
Kate’s prezzie came to light just as after she let slip that her romantic husband had sent her flowers and a card saying: “Missing you.”
The 30-year-old Duchess bagged the snug-fitting black boxers at top people’s store Peter Jones in Chelsea, West London.
She went for the boxed Polo Ralph Lauren Pouch Trunk in stretch cotton, jersey knit. The box features a hunky male model with a six-pack.
“The shorts are very popular and very trendy. Kate knew what she wanted when she came in and went for the boxed trunks that give a very nice fit,” the Sun quoted a store insider as saying.
“She is in here a lot buying clothes and stuff for their homes. It’s nice to know we can be of such use,” the insider added.
William is in the Falklands for six weeks – the longest he has been apart from Kate since they wed last April. (ANI)
