Noel denies possibility of Oasis reunion with Liam

London, Feb 6: Noel Gallagher has quashed brother Liam’s hopes of a reformation for their band Oasis.

The 39-year-old Liam claimed that the former band was his “life” and he would rather be part of it than his new group Beady Eye.

“If people think I’m going to be happy about the Oasis split then they’re wrong,” the Daily Star quoted Liam as saying.

“Even though I love Beady Eye, I’d prefer to still be in Oasis. That was my thing. Oasis was my life,” he said.

But elder brother Noel, 44, on Sunday said that it was in best interest for everyone “if we called it a day.”

“All that needs to be said has been said,” he said.

“There’s no need any more. I just want to forget the personality wars.

“I decided, now I’m not in Oasis, that I don’t have to do that any more. In the end personal things had got so bad that it was best for everybody if we just called it a day,” he added. (ANI)
