UK grants visa to Haqqani’s counsel for questioning Ijaz on memo issue

Islamabad, Feb 21: Britain has granted a visa to a counsel of former Pakistan ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani to question Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz on the Memo Gate issue on February 22.

Ijaz’s statement will be recorded through a video link on the said date, The Dawn reports.

Bukhari associate Ali Bukhari will receive the visa today by 3.00 pm on his behalf.

Earlier, on Sunday, Memo Commission Secretary Jawad Hassan left for London in order to record Ijaz’s statement. (ANI)
