Taliban leader killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, March 4: A Taliban leader was killed by the security forces in northern Afghanistan Sunday, police said.

Seyd Gul was killed in Kunduz province in a joint operation of the Afghan army and the coalition forces, Xinhua reported. He was responsible for attacks on security forces. Kunduz is about 250 km from Kabul.
