New Delhi, March 24: Delhi witnessed a warm and sunny day Saturday with the maximum temperature recorded two notches above average at 32.8 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a hotter Sunday in store.
The day’s minimum temperature was recorded at 17.7 degrees, a notch above average for this time of the season.
The humidity wavered between a high and low of 56 and 18 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department, the temperature will further rise Sunday and the skies will remain clear.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 19 degrees, respectively,” the IMD official added.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled at 30 degrees, while the minimum settled at 14.9 degrees Celsius.
