New Delhi, April 19: The summer is not fully here yet, all the same it was a warm enough afternoon for the spectators at Ferozeshah Kotla to look for areas of shade to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) game between Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers here Thursday.
It was only the second IPL match of the season here, but the first in the afternoon, yet it was a near full house. The spectators found handy thin sheets of paper, Daredevils flags and tiny fancy umbrellas to cover their heads to keep the sun off.
“I am here to support my team Daredevils. Rain or shine it doesn’t matter, I will be here for every match. IPL is a great format, thoroughly entertaining and I am having a great time. It is really hot for my comfort, but then how can I miss the show,” Jyotsana Thakur, an MBA student, told IANS.
