Knight Riders set 166-run target for Royal Challengers

Bangalore, April 10: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Tuesday set hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a 166-run target in an Indian Premier League-5 match at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium here.

Put in to bat by Royal Challengers skipper Daniel Vettori, the Knight Riders could manage 165 for eight wickets in 20 overs after a blistering start by the top order but the innings collapsed mid-way.

Gautam Gambhir top scored for the Knight Riders with 64 off 39 balls while Vinay Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts, taking two wickets for 18 runs.

Earlier, a small fire in the eastern stand of the stadium delayed the start of the match by 20 minutes.
