100 fall ill after eating chicken in China

Beijing, May 28: Around 100 people fell ill after eating chicken in a northern province in China.

A total of 97 people fell ill in Quyang county of Baoding city in Hebei province, Xinhua reported.

An investigation showed the illness was caused by eating braised chicken produced by a local store. The store has been closed down and the owner taken under police custody.
