Washington, May 17: Tech giant Apple is planning to introduce an iPhone with a larger screen, according to a report.
People familiar with the matter said have revealed that the company is ordering bigger screens from its Asian suppliers.
According to the sources, the new screens measure at least four inches diagonally, compared with 3.5 inches on Apple’s latest model, the iPhone 4S, The Wall street Journal reports.
The sources revealed that the production is set to begin next month.
They also said Apple is working with several screen makers on the new phone, including South Korea’s LG Display, Japan’s Sharp Corp and Japan Display Inc. (ANI)
