Jay-Z nominated for ‘Dad of the Year’

London, May 25: New fathers Jay-Z and Jack Osbourne will compete with stars including Rod Stewart and Gary Barlow to be named Dad of the Year.

The rap mogul’s and wife Beyonce became proud parents of Blue Ivy in January 2012, while Osbourne is just a month into parenthood with baby Pearl.

Both the men have been short listed for the ‘Premier Inn Celebrity Dad’ of the Year prize, the Daily Star reported.

Sir Elton John and N-Dubz rapper Dappy have also been nominated for the award, which was won by Peter Andre in year 2011.

Meanwhile, star Barlow, whose wife is pregnant with their fourth child, is ecstatic about his nomination.

He took onto the social networking site to express his excitement.

“Major breaking news,” he tweeted on his Twitter.com page. (ANI)
