MEA issues travel advisory on Syria

New Delhi, May 29: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has advised all Indian nations to avoid all non-essential travel to Syria for the present in view of the situation prevailing in that country.

The advice comes in the wake of a tragic incident of May 26, 2012 reportedly involving death of two Indians on the Syria-Iraq border, which has come to the attention of the government. (ANI)
