Oz cricketer Pomersbach confesses to his crime: Reports

New Delhi, May 21 (ANI) Sources in the Delhi Police on Monday said that Australian and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) cricketer Luke Pomersbach, who is currently out on bail in connection with a case of molesting an American woman, has said that he inadvertently touched the victim and was under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place.

The sources also revealed that another RCB player and Karnataka Ranji Trophy player K.P. Appanna has been identified through CCTV footage accompanying Pomersbach to the room of the victim.

Pomersbach was arrested Friday after Zohal Hamid alleged that he had molested her and hit her fiance Sahil Peerzada when he objected to the cricketer’s behaviour. eerzada was punched in his ear following which he had to undergo a surgery.

Peerzada was released from a hospital on Monday after surgery. (ANI)
