London, June 12: Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton has warned that his troubled team-mate Jenson Button is still a deadly title threat and needs to be watched.
Button, 32, is at his lowed ebb after his fourth non-points finish in the six races and has plummeted from championship leader to eighth, marking his worst position for two-and-a-half years.
However, Hamilton backed his McLaren crony and exuded confidence in his capabilities.
“Jenson is a world champion and he is massively strong. He will bounce back. You can’t write him off for the championship because one win puts you right back up there,” The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.
Button admitted, “I am confused and lost”. (ANI)
