Beijing, June 28: Torrential rains and floods in China have destroyed hundreds of hectares of crops and affected millions of people, authorities said Thursday.
Over half a dozen provinces in southern China, including Hunan, Guizhou, Jiangxi and Anhui, have been hit in the week-long deluge, Xinhua reported.
Nearly 2,600 houses collapsed and about 150,000 hectares of crops were destroyed. More then two million people were affected and 10 people died.
