How underwear model Elisabetta Gregoraci tamed billionaire Flavio Briatore

London, June 15: Flavio Briatore, who’s transformation from an ageing playboy to responsible husband and father is surely complete, has decided to divest himself of the Billionaire Club on the island of Sardinia, two years after his wife Elisabetta Gregoraci presented him with a son.

The swanky nightspot, where guests have included everyone from Prince Andrew and Leonardo DiCaprio to Sir Philip Green and Silvio Berlusconi, is closing at the end of the summer, leaving the jetset with nowhere to party when they hit Porto Cervo.

Launched 14 years ago on the Emerald Coast, which was developed in the Sixties by the racehorse-owning Aga Khan, the club became a mecca for sports stars, models and Russian billionaires.

It charges 800 pounds for a bottle of Cristal champagne and its fastidious doormen once refused entry to Bruce Willis.

The 62-year-old Italian businessman now spends much of his time in London.

“I’ve decided not to invest in Italy any more. I’ve had enough of red tape,” the Daily Mail quoted Braitore as saying.

“We offer jobs and opportunities but getting licences is a struggle.

“It’s as if they were doing us a favour, which is not the case,” he added. (ANI)
